Live Dubai flights

FIDS reads the same live feed the airport does and puts it on your wall: every departure and arrival for Dubai International, its scheduled and its effective time, the gate it leaves from and the belt it lands on. The board sorts on the time that actually matters, so a delayed flight sits where a guest expects to find it.

Six board layouts

One screen is departures, another is arrivals, a third splits the two down the middle — you choose per screen from a catalogue of six layouts. Whatever you pick, the board measures itself and grows its type to the largest size that still fits every column, so it is always as readable as the panel allows.

Runs unattended

A lobby screen has nobody watching it, so FIDS looks after itself. It survives a dropped network by holding the last known board on the wall behind a quiet “reconnecting” line, comes back on its own when the connection returns, reloads itself every night to pick up updates, and reports in every thirty seconds so you can see at a glance which screens are live.

Paired in seconds

Setting up a screen takes no software and no login on the screen itself. Point any browser at fids.ae, and it shows a code and a QR. From your dashboard you scan the QR or type the code, choose which screen it is, and the board goes live. The screen holds only an anonymous device token — never your account.

Weather on the plinth

Beneath the flights, the board carries the current weather for the airport — temperature and conditions — so a guest weighing whether to leave for the airport reads the sky and the schedule together. It is drawn to sit quietly under the board, never to compete with it.

Your screen, your settings

Each screen is its own record. Its time format, its orientation, its colour theme and its layout belong to the screen, not to a URL someone has to retype at the panel. Change any of them from the console and the screen picks it up on its next poll, with no one touching the display.
